I threw a 1-kuai coin from my 5th-story window because I wanted to see a cat turn its head.  I waited until no cars or pedestrians were passing by in the alley down below, and gave it a little toss.  It clinked with pretty much the expected sound and velocity, and the cat, as expected, remained stationary, but turned its head.  An employee from the late-night food stand across the street (where the cat was sitting) came out to investigate.  He knelt down and looked at the coin.  Then he brought another guy out and they both looked at the coin, in apparent surprise.  Neither of them ever looked up.  Meanwhile, the cat returned its head to the original position.
